A strange race is taking place all over the galaxy, and it seems that other things are happening in this region. Aliens and Xsotan have started their activity and no human has ever been able to communicate with them. There are also rumors about a strange metal called Avirion, which was found at the same time as the arrival of these alien creatures. These aliens apparently use Avirion to build their spaceships.

In Avorion, you are the one who starts on the sidelines and slowly approaches the center of the galaxy. You have a dangerous task ahead of you and you must reach the core of the galaxy as soon as possible. You can also follow the game in multiplayer and attack the center of the galaxy on a different scale by building your spaceships. It’s up to you and you have to organize a big space war and keep your forces in the best condition.
Your ship can be detached from laser weapons that repel enemies. Get basic resources from your allies and use them to upgrade your spaceship system. Sometimes the transfer of cargo to the center of the galaxy must be done in secret, because the enemy will destroy it immediately. Several hundred years ago, a cataclysmic catastrophe nearly ripped your galaxy apart – an impassable ring of torn hyperspace fabric appeared in the center of the galaxy, which normal hyperspace engines cannot overcome.
Since this Event nobody has managed to get near the central regions of the galaxy. All you know is that the Event also spawned multiple untraversable hyperspace rifts throughout the entire galaxy, and that a strange race of aliens, the Xsotan, has appeared in the center. It looks like these aliens have found a way to cross over the torn hyperspace fabric, but so far nobody has managed to establish contact with them.
